Just spent 2 nights at The Boat House Motel with my daughter. What a pleasure! The motel is an older, well-maintained, clean building with very friendly and accommodating folks at the desk who make everything nice for you as the customer. It's hard to find this kind of service these days, especially coming from the northeast (NJ). One of the best parts of our quick trip was the first morning I woke up early, just before sunrise, made a cup of coffee with the Keurig in the room, and wandered outside. I immediately noticed fish (possibly Snook) by the dock under one of the spotlights. So cool! I walked out onto the dock and just watched the fish hang out by the light and listened to other activity in the water as fish and birds were stirring in the first light of day. I so look forward to doing this again and highly recommend the Boat House if you'd like a convenient, quiet, friendly place to hang out for a few days. I'll be back for sure!
