We stayed here from October 30 thru November 6, 2019. Our room on the third floor had a balcony that overlooked Decatur Street. Our spot was a one bedroom, one bathroom, kitchen area and a “living room”. The place was wonderful. All employees were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend.

Positives are the location near the french quarter and comfort - they have a nice roof deck and have a fridge and wine glasses and cutlery for enjoying food and drink in the room.
Our impression was that this is a timeshare property and so customer service does not have to be a strength or competitive advantage. Staff is friendly, but the casual 'don't worry about it' turn into issues that you have to solve during your vacation. Staff seemed confused handling issues from renters (vs. timeshare owners) as it came across the staff are middlemen and the numbers to call are for owners not renters. Overall they treat you like they would a captive timeshare member who has no other choices. Set expectations accordingly.
New Orleans is a crazy awesome town. Bluegreen Vacations Club La Pension would be ok if you have no issues, but when we go back, we'll probably look for somewhere else to stay.
