Located on the bayside of Clearwater Beach and just a few blocks away from the area’s famous white sand beaches, the all-suite Blue Wave Motel offers families many of the comforts of home. The newly renovated hotel is situated between the Gulf of Mexico and the Intra-Coastal Waterway, close to the Clearwater Marina Aquarium and Captain Bligh’s Landing, where families can enjoy a game of mini-golf. There are also a number of water sports operators nearby where you can sign up for jet skiing, parasailing and deep-sea fishing.
The hotel’s roomy suites can accommodate families and groups of up to six or seven people. Each suite has beds with comfortable pillow-top mattresses and a kitchenette equipped with a full-size refrigerator, gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, pots and pans and a coffeemaker. The hotel also has a barbecue patio, rainforest roof deck and an onsite bicycle rental service. Chairs, umbrellas and towels are all provided for free, too, and you can bring them down to the beach.
