The Blue Sky Lodge is a nice, clean, simple place to stay. The location is great...within walking distance of the small downtown. (Bring a flashlight at night though as it is very dark when walking to town). Valerie, who works there, was super friendly and understanding as we needed to change rooms (since I am very sensitive to noises at night). The rooms at the Lodge could definitely be updated, but it met our needs and I would book a room there again in the future.

The hotel is great for anyone trying to get away from the chaos of real life and find a weekend to relax.

We have stayed at this property many times, we normally bring our dogs but this weekend we allowed ourselves a weekend of no responsibility. Conveniently located so you can walk to anywhere in Carmel Valley. The site features a pool and hot tub. Although the pool is very frigid and the hot tub jets have no pressure. So if you like to soak in a warm tub, they have you covered.

It was our first time staying in the lower units (facing the main street). We were worried there would be a lot of noise (it was negligible, you could hear a few cars during the day but nothing at night).

This is good deal for a classic motor lodge. Comfortable and clean.
