Gem in the Yucatán peninsula. Recommended by a friend of a friend we booked a week-long stay and have enjoyed it tremendously. The location is central to other destinations like Bacalar, Cobá and Chichen Itza. The location is on the beach and almost every room has an ocean view and is 20 feet from the water. Mattress and linens are very good and the breakfast which is included is at least $20 worth if not more. Chef Beto has a crew of seven in charge of the kitchen. The shrimp ceviche is delicious. Highly recommended.

Don't dare to come near this hotel!!! They know how to be nice only when everything is ok, But if you have any problem with your room- they become very rude and unwilling to help!! We stayed for 2 nights and had NO HOT WATER in our shower. We called the stuff twice and they told us that maybe we dont know how to use the shower (really?!?!?!). When we asked to speak with the manager, the reception guy told us that he can't call him and that there's nothing he can do for us (we wanted a discount for this aggravation). Attached is a photo of the reception guy who was very rude to laugh at us with his coworkers.
