Overview

This cozy little motel lacks a view of the ocean — but it’s got everything else you could want in a beach getaway, at an affordable price. Located down a quiet sidestreet within easy walk of the ocean, the motel features spotlessly clean rooms full of amenities, including air-conditioning, microwaves, fridges, swivel flatscreen TVs, quick Wi-Fi and Keurig coffeemakers. Rooms are individually decorated with an eclectic, rustic feel; some of them have wood paneling on the walls.
Innkeepers Mary and Rose bubble over with friendly conversation, quickly breaking the ice among guests who congregate up on the second floor patio. Some of them have been coming back every summer for years. It’s a two-block walk to the ocean, and just a few more to get to the shops and arcades of the central boardwalk area — which means the property is both quiet and convenient. Guests are also allowed to use the pool at the nearby yacht club.

Location is great, just a quick walk to the beach and a little away from the craziness of the beach which is nice.
The whole property, grounds and the rooms are super clean and well kept. The owners and all staff are so nice and hospitable that it makes the whole experience that much better.
We will be staying here every time we go back to visit Hampton Beach for sure!!!!

After landing at Hampton Beach on July 2 and losing our original rental for a week, we made our way down the street and saw a "vacancy" sign at the Blue Jay Motel. Mary and Rose were so welcoming. The rooms was clean, kitchenette fully stocked with anything you would need, outdoor space and a grill for guest use and the outdoor shower after a day at the beach: it was a perfect place to land. We enjoyed our week at the Blue Jay.
