A star because as others have noted, the room was very clean.

A bunch of downsides. No coffee or WiFi. Room smelled of air freshener. Ancient worn furniture. Minimal noise insulation.

But what really bothered me: though there were only a handful of guests, the owner gave us a room next to guests who continually smoked outside their room, both in front and on the shared back porch. The guests were nice people. But as they were return customers, the management must have known their smoking habits. Why put others next to them when there were about a dozen empty rooms?

All this for $90. There’s not a lot of competition in the area, so there’s clearly not much pressure for the owner to improve. But if you have the time look around for something better.

This was a nice clean and convenient motel. Very friendly staff . After treking through Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor it was nice to come back to the relaxing pool . Enjoyed coffee outside in a conveniently placed picnic table too. Room rates were reasonable and not that far out of Bar Harbor or the Park !
