Overview

The Blue Dory Inn is a historic property on Block Island with 11 guestrooms and suites for families. Enjoy king, queen and twin beds, free Wi-Fi, TVs, DVD players, mini-fridges, microwaves, and pet-friendly accommodations. Rooms sleep between two and four people. Fuel up each morning with a complimentary breakfast before hitting the beach. The Inn offers beach chairs and towels for guests to use, as well. Return in the afternoon for the complimentary happy hour reception, with appetizers and cocktails with fellow guests. There is no onsite restaurant, though the inn is close to local eateries, as well as local attractions in the downtown area.

I left my ❤️, at the Blue Dory Inn

I loved this place. Just got back from a two nights’ stay there and sure wish it had been longer. Room, spotless and needing nothing else. Extremely helpful and cordial Inn keeper, Bobby and admirable and welcoming owner Ann instantly make you feel as if you are in your own, cozy home, offering a sumptuous and varied morning buffet as well as a 5:00 wine, lemonade , cheese and famous barnacle cookie get together with your Inn-mates where more than likely you will all find common ground. Makes you feel like your with friends

The Blue Dory with it’s own orange cat, Simon, is located in the perfect place in town within just a few minutes walk of the ferry and in the middle of all the shops and fine dining. Such a pleasure. When I left, I knew immediately I was leaving my heart right there.

Great off season get away

My dog and I visited the Blue Dory and stayed in the Tea Room for two nights. The cottage was good size and very comfortable and our host was delightful.

The breakfasts were lovely and the wine hour was generous and a great source of bonhomie.
