Situated on Belgrave Road, the Blades hotel offers cozy yet comfortable accommodations that can sleep a family of five. The air-conditioned rooms come complete with a flat screen television, electric kettle, and private bathroom. The onsite restaurant serves traditional British dishes. Families on the go will appreciate the hotel’s close proximity to the famous historic attractions of London. Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace are only minutes away. The Thames River provides the perfect setting for family photos or and afternoon stroll. Museums, art galleries, and live performers abound in the neighborhood, and a visit to the Globe Theater is highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights in room for 3 persons. We felt very welcome and the staff at the hotel were nice and friendly. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very good. We had our room at the 4:th floor so it was some stairs to get there (but it was good excercise :-) ).
We have stayed in a number of hotels in Victoria/Pimlico and this is the best so far.

Before talking about the terrible service to this hotel, I want to talk about hygiene and facilities! first bed duvets and pillows were probably not washed in a long time, or mattress and pillow are very old, because the smell of dust and mildew was so strong that I woke up all night with difficulty breathing, even those who are not allergic to dust was with the throat itching! the shower practically doesn't come out of the water, it was very cold to take a shower! the breakfast was simple and even tasty! but the service was horrible! we made our reservation on hotel.com and then confirmed it by phone and email, and when we arrived at the hotel a receptionist wanted to charge an extra night, saying we arrived the day before! Only we didn't do that! As we were late for a museum we paid, then returned to talk to the manager. a woman named antonella answered us very arrogantly saying that the manager was not there and that we had to talk to her, she shouted at us and we never raised our voice with her! Then we showed the booking confirmation emails, and she said it was a mistake and I was supposed to suspect it! In no time she assumed that mistake was from the hotel and tried to blame me! she was very thick, ignorant and arrogant! and said if I wasn't happy that I left the hotel, she would repay me my money! Of course I accepted and went to another hotel, where I paid very expensive for not booking in advance! but I had peace, leaving a place where they do not respect the customer at all! so I do not recommend this hotel for the lack of polite staff and a manager who never showed up!
