Overview

While this property is first and foremost a golf course and country club, there are 22 comfortable golf-themed rooms if you want to make a weekend out of it in the Catskills. Lessons are available for both adults and kids. Even if you don’t take to the tees, the scenery of the Blackhead Mountains is beautiful.
Six of the guestrooms are located in a motel-style building, and have two double beds each. A separate poolside motel has five rooms, but these only have one queen bed each. Families will be more comfortable in the “the cabins,” a five-room unit with two double beds. Lastly, there’s the “House on the Hill,” a two-story building that has two adjoining rooms downstairs and two mini-suites upstairs.
German and American cuisine is served at the onsite restaurant, Maassmann’s. Breakfast isn’t complimentary, but packages are available that do include it. There’s an outdoor pool and trails on the property.

It's a place full of love, with great staff, delicious food, and beautiful scenery. I strongly recommend this hotel, especially for those who like nature and playing golf. I will definitely come back to visit the location.

Always our favorite course to play. It’s not easy by no means since it’s a mountain course. Challenging yet fun to play. The blackhead “bounce” always makes for interesting shots and landings. I wouldn’t recommend walking. Rates are very reasonable. Look for the weekly deals as some include dinner. And if your golf isn’t good that day , you play you can always enjoy the views and wildlife. The views are just stunning.
