Was there the weekend of the Alabama vs TN game with the TN team staying at the hotel. We had zero complaints about the team & the entire team staff staying there. It didn't seem crowded and it was never loud.
The hotel is nicely done. Beds comfy. The only complaint I had was the room was extremely hot at night. We were on the 8th floor in a corner room (836 I think) and something was def going on with the AC or lack of. We had it turned down to 65 or lower and the room temp never got below 75 at night. It was hard to sleep.
The breakfast buffet is good. Nothing spectacular. The staff was extremely nice. Would stay again despite the temp in the room issues as I'm sure it was just something going with that particular unit and not hotel wide.

My son and I were traveling back to Dallas from a trade show in Atlanta… I decided to get a start Saturday night so I could make the 10+ hour drive on Sunday. On my Bonvoy app, the Marriott had a room for 20,000 points so we headed that way. I didn’t book it because it was late and I wanted to make sure we made it there (we were exhausted from a long day of work). About 2 hours later, we arrived around midnight. I was told the only room available was a whopping $349 and they would not allow me to use my points. Frustrated, we left in search of another hotel. Apparently, every hotel in the area was booked. My son wanted to sleep in the car but I really needed to get a good nights sleep for the drive. So around 1am, we returned to the Marriott. They still had a room for $349 and the manger would not give us a better rate because it was a “special event”. It was not a special event for us; we just wanted to sleep. Although I felt totally taken advantage of, I paid for the room. To top it off, I left a very expensive ring in the room the next morning. I’ve called 4 times (talked to someone twice and left 2 messages). I was told they would check with the person that cleaned our room and I even offered a reward. It has been a week and nobody has called me back. Bottom-line – this was a VERY costly stay for me. I so wish we had slept in the car!!!
