Situated just south of downtown Seattle, in Pioneer Square, this historic Victorian-Romanesque landmark, 75-room BEST WESTERN PLUS hotel is ideal for families visiting the city to catch a Sounders, Seahawks or Mariners game, as the stadiums are within a stone’s throw of the hotel’s front door. Once inside, you’ll enjoy free breakfast of Belgian waffles, pastries, juices and more, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access. Tastefully appointed rooms feature period furniture, and come with two beds, are not as spacious as others in the city but will fit a family for a short stay in Seattle. They include a wall-mounted HDTV, along with all the other standard hotel amenities you would expect from a BEST WESTERN.

We stayed for three nights at the end of October 2019.
The hotel is ‘just’ in the Pioneer Square district, it is a walk to get to anywhere interesting, but everywhere was walkable (for us) and the free shuttle, which will take you to Space Needle, MoPOP etc, stops outside the hotel
Good things:
Room was a good size with a huge bed and just about everything one might need, including a kettle and tea and coffee.
Complimentary tea, coffee and cookies in reception.
Plentiful ‘continental’ style breakfast with helpful staff.
Bad things;
Not much, except early morning noise from the ongoing construction work by the waterfront; and the hotel is a bit ‘peripheral’.

It was clean, everything was ok and fine but it´s veeeeeery old. Super old. Nice beds. There was a public parking right on the other side of the street. Breakfast was ok. Short distance to pike market and the orginal starbucks coffee.
