This is the best hotel in Metairie because my car is always under roof. So, when it is raining, I stay dry. Even on busy days my car is always under roof. Plenty of parking and it is free. Breakfast is great. Room is always kept clean and orderly.

Well, after my first night staying here I discovered some black gunk (not a stain) on my comforter. Alerted the front desk as I was leaving for the day and asked that fresh bedding be put on my bed. When I returned, housekeeping had already come... but the same gunky comforter was still there. So I had to call the front desk and alert them again. Housekeeping then came up to switch it out and seemed mad, so that was awkward.

The shower was weird. The door furthest from the shower handle is the only one that opened, so that means when you go turn the shower on you get a lovely blast of cold water. While in the shower, I discovered my washcloth had black stains on it. Not very comforting while you are trying to shower. And while we are talking about washcloths... this hotel attempts to "Go green", and their idea of that is to only provide fresh towels every 3 days. I'm sorry... but that is a bit much. Keep in mind that also includes your washcloth. You have to request fresh towels at the front desk if you want them more often than the 3 days.
Last complaint is that there was a baby roach in the bathroom (saw him on check out day... I was so ready to go after that)!

The room had a safe... with a key. I didn't trust that. Anyone can make a copy of a key!!!

There was a good breakfast there. Full breakfast with great staff.

They do have laundry there.. only takes cards. No cash. $3 to wash and $2.50 to dry.

Parking is covered, but can be hard to find spots on the weekends as there is always something happening here (events, etc)

Overall very disappointed.
