Slightly Tired but saved by spacious rooms and awesome service

We stayed 4 nights. So glad our airBnb cancelled on us. if not, we would not have stayed here!

Location: Convenient enough! Subway was close by and bus stops nearby had buses we needed for our trips.
Room was very spacious! Very very big, which we really enjoyed. Everyone had their own space.
Beds could have been firmer.

Staff were friendly all round, maybe except for one lady at the front desk who was quite condescending but it could be just the way she speaks.
Breakfast was a simple do. Simple, but enough =)

Hotel was slightly old, decor and carpets slightly tired. But we would stay here again because of the spacious rooms and great service.

Amazing staff and convenient accommodation

The amazing, helpful and ever so hospitable staff truly made our stay unforgettable. From the moment we entered after a long flight the staff gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home.

The appartment is very spacious which is very convenient when travelling with a family of 6. The only downside is that there is only 1 bathroom in the appartment so with 6 people this can be a challenge. The appartment could also do with some updating as it looked a little tired. We were sleeping at the front side (4th floor) and immediately closed all windows as it can be a little noisy.

Although the breakfast area only has limited seating the fact you can take your tray to your room is definitely a plus. Also the selection of items was surprisingly large and each day there was something different. The food is tasty and fresh. They even had a machine to prepare your own waffels, definitely a favorite with our kids. The staff at the breakfast made sure to re-stock the food and kept the area clean and tidy. They always provides us with a warm welcome and a big smile, great start of the day ????????.

The location of the hotel is also very convenient and the metro is only 5 minutes away. We got a 7 day unlimited metro pass which enabled us to travel all around New York.

I can definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return in the future. We also hope Best Western will keep investing and updating the appartments to prevent further deterioration. This place is a gem in NYC.
