This is a great hotel in a great location. We visited this time for a mini vacation. We went to the restaurant on site for dinner our first evening. Apparently Bruce Guthro was in town and it was quite busy. We were able to get a table for 2 though. Bruce sat at the table beside us.
Anyway, the only minor complaint we had was that they did not have enough ingredients on hand to do up the Charcutrie Board listed on the menu. We chose another appetizer and will try to get a Charcuterie Board next visit. The main courses were great and the local craft beer was a nice tough.
Breakfast both days was very good. the food was fresh and replenished quickly. We both ate too much.
Overall our room was nice. Not as nice as the first time we stayed, though. Not sure if being on the 3rd floor this time and the 2nd floor last time made any difference in the room. There was an older plush chair that had some staining on the arms and back. We just didn't sit in it. Not a big deal.
We still really like this Hotel and we will be back. Minor things are minor things.
