Going with the Pros first: clean and friendly one person I saw running the place. Cons: our room was a total of $210 on off season! That is fine if it was worth it! It was far from worth it! Our room had the smell of Gas leak. I cracked the window open just in case. We did have headaches the next morning. Our room did have a fireplace. So suspect, that is where the gas may be from... We only stayed overnight. I did go down to the the desk twice and did not see anyone.
We were out and about a lot "thank goodness".
Our bed was like laying on plywood and the pillows so tiny and full my neck is still kinked. We kept waking up all night. Not a good sleep for sure.
The continental breakfast, was TERRIBLE!
Holiday Express, has better breakfasts than here! Everything came out of an box, or packet! Was not even real orange juice!
Why folks are posting walking distance into town is beyond me! Maybe in 70ish temperature if you want to take a hike over the hill and through the woods!
Very disappointed. I tried to find a person in the morning when I dropped off our room cards, no one to be found. Just left them on the desk. So, my issues were not addressed or resolved. Lesson learned. Do not recommend this place failed on price, quality, efficiency and good location.
( slowest elevator ever) take the stairs, much faster!
