Located in the heart of Hilton Head Island, this chain hotel is only a short walk to the Coligny Beach. Coligny Plaza with its many restaurants and shops and the Harbour Town Lighthouse are not far away either. Families will love to snag a bike rental from the hotel and enjoy the nearby bike trails or grab a racket and test out the tennis facility next to the hotel. The spacious and pretty guestrooms feature a king or two queen beds, a mini-fridge, microwave and flat screen television. Additionally, the large suites feature a separate living room area with a sleeper sofa and fully equipped kitchenette. Rooms with a balcony and connecting rooms are also available. Families can start each morning with the free hot breakfast buffet where items like eggs, hot and cold cereal, muffins, fruit and more can be found. Pets will be considered at the hotel. Guest laundry facilities are also available.

Booked a three-night stay, reserving the room with a credit card with the intention of paying cash for our room upon arrival, as we have done with every other hotel and hotel chain we've stayed at over the last fifteen years. We were shocked to learn upon checking in that THIS HOTEL DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH FOR PAYMENT. In fact, our credit card, unknown to us, had been charged for one night's stay three days before we arrived. We certainly were not happy with this, but went ahead and paid for the second night, with the intent of settling the final bill for the third night at check-out. At check-out, we were presented with a bill for two nights stay, even though we had paid for two of the three nights at check-in (this would have been paying for four nights on a three-night stay). Had to use the hotel's computer to pull up our credit card statement to show the staff where the card had been charged prior to our arrival. Definitely not happy about this. In summary, difficulty at check-in and at check-out.
The rest of the stay was merely ok. As others have said, this is an older property that has be renovated. Nothing really of a "wow" factor with the room, but the oversized TV and keurig coffeemaker were nice touches. You could hear noises and coughing and toilets flushing throughout the day and night. The breakfast too was just ok, but the lady supervising the area was very nice and offered each person a freshly prepared fruit cup.
Good value for the money but would not stay here again given our billing and front desk experience.

In general, I prefer staying at BW Hotels when traveling. This time was for pleasure instead of business so I was looking forward to it for a long time. I used a voucher for our stay this time which cause a little anxiety on my part because I don't like loose ends. (Raised military and a veteran myself) Check-in went smooth and the room was quite large. The wall-mounted thermostat was a nice touch. There were dishes, pots/pans, and even a small stove. It was like the room was begging us to stay more than one night! I wish I could have. They did a great job on the renovations and made outstanding design choices. The next morning, the breakfast was delicious. The hospitality staff was very courteous and friendly. There were plenty of flyers and information about local activities available so I scooped up all of them and went out exploring the island. There was a little hiccup at check out, but nothing to get upset about. Overall, I will be back and hope they keep up the good work.
