This expansive hotel sits on the banks of beautiful Lake Lucille. The spacious suites are ideal for a small family of three or four, with a king bed, double sleeper sofa and room for a rollaway or crib. Every room comes with a refrigerator and microwave. A few, the spa suites, have Jacuzzi tubs. Other amenities include a fitness room, free Wi-Fi and a free continental breakfast. Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony and lake view so kids can watch float planes take off and land on the lake.
The Lake Lucille Inn is located on a quiet lake west of downtown Wasilla. There are a variety of shops and restaurants within a mile or two of your hotel, all along the busy Parks Highway. Several of Wasilla’s most popular attractions are also nearby, including the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Museum and the Museum of Alaska Transportation. Kids will absolutely love the Alaska Live Steamers, a 20-acre park where you can ride miniature trains through the woods. You also won’t want to miss the Independence Mine State Historical Park, site of a large abandoned gold mine, in the mountains north of Wasilla. With its beautiful lakeside location and spacious suites, the BEST WESTERN Lake Lucille Inn is a great choice for your vacation to Wasilla.

The hotel is very Alaskan when you enter, with stuffed animal hanging all over the walls. Very cozy and gives the feeling of a cottage. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a nice suite with sitting room and everything needed. The room comes with a free breakfast and the internet is decent about 5mbps on average. The hotel has only two floors with a great view of the lake. The only draw back is that it has NO elevator.

Beautiful setting! There is no operable restaurant for food at night, ordering out was only option. The bar is normally not open either however we hit it during the 39 day period they opened it for liquor license purposes. It’s a shame they don’t utilize these services, it’s such a beautiful setting.
