This hotel has friendly staff, clean rooms and within a short walk of F train subway. Lima the breakfast attendant was sweet and very helpful. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We have stayed there 4 or 5 times on our trips to New York. It is out from the city, but it saved us money to spend elsewhere. Subway takes you into the city in 20 30 minutes.

Rooms - It is basic. This is no luxury suite. The LCD TV was a good size but you only get US cable channels. The workmanship of the bathroom is average and needs updating. I prefer either a shower or a bath not both. At times when the cleaners did make over our room we found a sort of smell in the room like they used dirty water to mop the floors. The towels and face cloths were hit and miss, some times we had to ask for face cloths. The quality of the material is poor. You are getting what is like recycled materials re washed over and over. You really are getting budget facilities for budget price.
Breakfast - was so poor that we only did ate there once. Its located in the basement floor. One small room, very cold because they have the air con on high which I think is stupid first thing in the morning to greet your guest so i would advise to dress warm if you eat at the hotel. Food choices are limited. The coffee machine broke down, there is cold milk for limited choice of cereals, limited choice of hot food and the cooked food does not appear to be made on the premises, just pre made and heated up and served by one person.
The hotel is located just of the van dyke highway and its a decent location. Very near to Briarwood metro which is 5 minutes away. There are restaurants and small shops nearby. KFC, Mcdonald's and Dunkin donuts are walking distance and the high street is also nearby with loads of amenities. There is a petrol station right next to the hotel.
