This hotel was just okay. We were greeted by a friendly front desk staff when we arrived. The entire hotel had a funky smell. It is a non-smoking hotel, however, it smelled like maybe it previously had smoking rooms but was never thoroughly cleaned to get the smoke smell out.
Our room had an odor to it as well, I’ll call it a “mildew or musty” smell, and there was even an air freshener on the A/C vent, so obviously they are aware of the smell. I made my kids wear their shoes in the room because the carpet felt...less than clean. The beds were comfortable and the sheets were clean.
The breakfast was very good, there was a nice selection of food and drink.
The pool area was nice. The hot tub heater wasn’t working, but that didn’t effect us as the kids played in the pool only.
Overall, it wasn’t the worst hotel experience we’ve had, and if it weren’t for the smell and greasy-feeling carpet, I would have given this hotel a very glowing review.
