As temperatures drop, we’re turning our attention to the pools, waterslides, lazy rivers and more at these water parks across the U.S., expected to open in 2018.

Obstacle Course at Nona Adventure Park

Nona Adventure Park – Orlando

Best For: Ages 10 and Up

Orlando is getting a new water park in 2018 and no, it won’t be located at a theme park. Nona Adventure Park will be a brand-new attraction of its own on Lake Nona. The inflatable water park will feature the world’s first solar-powered wakeboard and water ski cable park with tracks for all skill levels. A new resort with 250 rooms will also open on Lake Nona.

Obstacle Course at Nashville Shores

Nashville Shores Aqua Park – Hermitage, Tenn.

Best For: Ages 10 and Up

The largest water park in the region, Nashville Shores plans to open Aqua Park, a floating water park with climbing structures, bridges and other “Wipeout”-like thrills. The new attraction will coincide with the water park’s 20th anniversary in 2018.

Big Rivers Waterpark – New Caney, Texas

Best For: Ages 3 and Up

Big Rivers Waterpark will open at Grand Texas, a new 62-acre amusement park and entertainment complex outside of Houston. The new waterpark will feature waterslides, a lazy river and wave pool; more attractions are expected to be announced soon.

Great Wolf Lodge Georgia – LaGrange, Ga.

Best For: Ages 3 and Up

Great Wolf Lodge will open a hotel in LaGrange, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. The new property will feature the chain’s signature indoor water park with attractions and fun for all ages, from a sprayground for tiny tykes to giant waterslides for teens.
