This is a B&B; therefore, each room choice is very different. There are two suites available: the Study (smaller) and the Gale Suite (larger). Additionally, the entire first floor can also be rented (sleeps five to seven people); guests have full, exclusive use of the kitchen and the whole first floor. It’s the charm that brings families to this unique lodging experience, and the eye-popping gardens and a six-circuit labyrinth. There is a hot tub, two cruiser bicycles for your enjoyment riding the many trails in the valley and checking out all of the attractions in the Roaring Fork Valley. A very light continental breakfast is served daily.

My husband and I stayed here two nights in September, hoping to catch the fall color. Although we were only a block off the main drag, it was very quiet. We enjoyed leaving the car there while we walked to dinner a couple blocks away. The room had everything we needed and included many thoughtful touches. I like that the innkeepers have an environmentally attuned awareness regarding cleaners and filtered water and such. The labyrinth and hot tub in the back yard are appealing extra touches.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in the Gable suite. The gardens are beautiful, and Glenwood's shops and galleries are within walking distance, as are the train station and river trail. We'll probably stay there again and invite friends and relatives next time.
