Pleasant and helpful owners. Clean, quiet and warm! Came up to check out Mass MOCHA the Clark and evaluate the area for retirement. Drawback in Wtown was a lack of parking which made visiting very difficult.

From the original reservation to the full extent of our stay we had a great visit to the Berkshire Valley Inn. I especially liked seeing the next mountain ridge's windmills loafing along. We were in the second building to the south of the one shown in the picture. The guests were quiet overall, and our chocolate lab added to that quiet. We put the dog's travel crate in the main bedroom with us. It was a nice suite with a large living area, with fireplace, tables, couch and two recliners. I believe the vinyl/padded furniture was brand new and the recliners worked perfectly. The kitchenette was nice and had everything we needed plus. It was VERY nice of them to have a nice coffee electric pot AND Folgers coffee (my favorite at home brand). The bathroom was nice too. Everything worked well and had updated fixtures, etc. We were in room 205. My only regret of our stay was not having the time to spend sitting on the front porch's chairs watching the windmills. On the south end of the whole motel is a nice grassy area where I played Frisbee with the lab. The morning breakfast was OK and I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit. The co-owner (husband) noted that our trip to check out a wedding venue an hour and a half away would be more enjoyable by taking the Mohawk Trail. The co-owner (wife) was also very pleasant as was the staff. Although we did not actually request it the room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. First class operation that offers a lot of value.
