Nice hotel on NYC Upper east side

Very accomodating and friendly front desk. Fresh coffee and paper in lobby. Keurig in each room. Booked hotel website was the best price. Hotel was one block (1st street) to many hotel choices.
Room was well cared for, included small frig and safe.

Recommend Ritz Diner, one block (1st and 62) for lots of variety and wholesome meal if you don't want fine dining option.

Very nice stay

It's always better when you get upgraded and my room was both spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and the night time noise was quiet by NY standards. A few minor things like outlet covers coming off, and the only real negative were the very slow elevators. Not slow from floor to floor, just slow when you call one. Only a couple of easy blocks to many restaurants.
