This three-story villa is made up of several three-bedroom suites (one on each floor), which can be rented individually or in combination. There is also a single-bedroom suite over the pool house if your family is on the smaller side. Each spacious suite is complete with bedroom balconies and a large veranda with lounge furniture and an outdoor dining area with a grill for barbecuing. The hotel, which overlooks the ocean, is a five-minute walk to the restaurants on Road Bay Beach, or you can shop for groceries and do the cooking yourself. The staff is pleasant and will help you find shops and restaurants to suit your needs.

My first visit to Anguilla. Spent 10 days from Dec 25th to Jan 3rd at the Bellavista in the Oceanside suite. All the rooms (bedroom, bathroom, living room and kitchen) were large, clean and comfortable. The Living room has very large sliding glass doors the opened fully (with screens if needed) for awesome day and night view of Sandy Ground beach. What a spectacular view with lots of boating activity to watch.
I checked out all the different suites on the property and found all them beautiful, large with awesome views as well. The balconies are supersized.
No sign of Hurricane Irma damage here.
The villa was supplied with all the kitchen amenities needed. The property is beautify and peaceful with a great pool, patio and bar area.
Thank you Ingrid (owner) for a great vacation and all your insights on the island, so wonderful that you share your passion for this island with your guests. I appreciated all your tips and Mikey's (property manager) rum punch. I have traveled to many vacations spots and have never felt so at home, relaxed and impressed.
Visited many different beaches and restaurants around the island. Impressed by the beaches, amenities and food.
I highly recommend Bellavista to anyone traveling to Anguilla or in the area (as it's a short boat ride over from St. Marteen - or you can fly in directly). Well priced accommodation, restaurants, car rental and food shopping in such an exclusive setting. I will definitely be back.

In the past year (2017), I have stayed at Bella Vista three times. The first two times were during off season (July and then August during Carnival) and then in early December after Hurricane Irma. The first two times, Ingrid, the owner was not there (which I was aware of). As a person traveling alone, and one that always has a million questions, Ingrid was kind enough to answer ALL of my many questions by phone and/or email while I was planning my initial visit to Bella Vista. She was prompt to answer questions and was very easy to work with.
During the first two visits, Mikie was on property and he always made sure I was ok and taken care of. The first time I stayed (July 2017), I stayed in the Pool House which has the MOST amazing view. It is similar to a one bedroom apartment and has everything you will need, including an outdoor shower! The second time that I stayed at Bella Vista (Aug 2017), I stayed in the Oceanside Suite. This suite had an amazing view as well and, being newer than the other suites (at the time), had a beautiful large sliding glass door that looked out onto the ocean, large bathroom and amenities that you would need to stay anywhere. The third time was after Hurricane Irma, at the beginning of December 2017 (when I finally met Ingrid), and I stayed in the Pool House again. Although the property had some damage from the hurricane (from what I heard), I could not tell when I arrived. The suite looked like the place had not been touched by the storm.
On a side note - it was great to finally meet Ingrid and she was very nice and full of information/quidance on what to do and where to go since she is very familiar with Anguilla.
Even prior to the hurricane, there are many things that I would like to note about Bella Vista. I should start by saying that I travel a lot and am very discerning (picky?) about where I stay and Bella Vista did not disappoint. Each suite has the amenities that you will need to sleep comfortably, cook meals, enjoy the pool, and explore the island. The suites are clean. Bathrooms are important to me when I go anywhere and they were very clean which was a huge PLUS.
Aside from the BEST things about BV (Mikie/Ingrid) is the location. BV is located pretty much in the "middle" of the island between the East End and West End of the island which makes it ideal for exploring. In addition, the views overlook Sandy Ground and I spent many mornings just looking over the water, drinking tea, and enjoying the sunrises and sunsets.
I could go on and on and would give you some "cons" about the place but I really do not have any. I would rather keep this place my little secret but...the place is amazing, comfortable and truly welcoming.
On a side note, I have stayed at Malliouhana in May 2017 as well. It was a nice hotel with nice rooms but location was aalllllll the way on the West End, cost more than BV, and didn't have the amenities (such as full kitchen) that BV had. I would prefer to stay at BV over Malliouhana or Four Seasons for three reasons: location, amenities, and personal attention.
Do not hesitate to book!!!
