Overview

Families on the hunt for an all-inclusive lakefront resort experience will enjoy everything that the Beachwood Resort has to offer. This fully renovated historic resort dates back to the 1920s and offers families an array of rooms that can meet their needs. Many of the Treeview Rooms and Lakeview Suites are capable of accommodating families of four. The Cabin is capable of accommodating groups of up to six people. Amenities provided by the resort include babysitting services, a children’s program and complimentary Wi-Fi access. Guests can dine onsite for breakfast, lunch and dinner at Frederick’s Restaurant. McLean Berry Farm, Gallery on the Lake and the Selwyn Conservation Area are within driving distance of the resort’s location.

Mini Getaway

Went for 3 days to do some fishing. The meal plan and meals were good. Stayed in the king water view. Room wasn't bad, bathroom fan very noisey and needs to be replaced. Some of the staff could of been a little friendlier. I talked to the owner quite by accident, you would think he would of introduced himself but he didn't. The owners wife could of been a little friendlier too. Some of the dining room staff need proper training which would help to make your dinning experience more enjoyable. I had to ask for some cutlery one night when I received my dinner. Table cloths would surely add to the ambiance. The resort wasn't bad but I don't really have a urge at this time to revisit.

Charming waterfront resort with great food!

Resort has a mix of lodge and cottages. Beds were very hard and our room was hot. But that was the only real issue all week. Property is beautiful and they have so many activities for families. Lots of kayaks, canoes, SUP, pedal boats that you can borrow anytime. Water playground w trampoline. Sandy beach for sand castle building. Boats to rent. We enjoyed the pontoon boat. Kids playground. Games, ping pong, Croquet, darts, tennis, and lots more. Campfire pits with wood included. Food at Fredericks Tuesday to Sat was fantastic. Sunday buffet was ok but not the same quality.
