Whether you’re visiting Berry College or could just use a getaway, the Barnsley Resort provides a luxurious break brimming in fun for every age. The property offers several room styles including standard guestrooms, suites and estate cottages that sleep a large family. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, coffeemakers and free Wi-Fi. Upgrade by requesting a fireplace, a soaking tub or porch. Wi-Fi and parking are complimentary.

Amenities include a saltwater pool, garden tours, a golf course, fishing, target shooting and horseback riding. The property also has an impressive fitness/wellness center and a destination spa. Onsite dining includes the Woodlands Grill, the Rice House (Friday and Saturday evenings), and the Beer Garden (open seasonally).

Kids of all ages will love meeting the miniature horses, donkeys, a goat and friends at the Barnsley Barnyard. (Don’t skip the friendly barn cats.)

Great getaway!

Beautiful resort with unique roomy cottages in a woodland setting. Absolutely lovely! We choose the resort because we could bring our dogs and the accommodations and service were way beyond our expectations. We took advantage of the hiking trails that surround the resort and ate at the Woodlands Grill and at the Beer Garden. Both restaurants offered a good selection and delicious food.

Our stay was wonderful and worth the cost. It’s close to Atlanta too!

From the moment we drove through the grand gates we knew were in for a real treat. We stayed just two nights but took full advantage of the amenities. We took a guided horseback ride with Miranda and it was fabulous, then we headed to the skeet shooting range and Troy was awesome. First time shooting a gun and manage to hit 7 clays! We played lots of games in t he courtyard, made s'mores and even did some canoeing. EVERYONE is very accommodating and genuinely happy to have you at the resort We will be back!!
