Baoase has ruined me for all other hotels. It's the equivalent of flying first class and then trying to go back to coach. I cannot say enough about this hidden paradise in Curacao. The food, service, rooms, and staff are all incredible. I would go back there in a heartbeat. I knew nothing about it when I stumbled upon Baoase looking for a romantic and private destination in the Caribbean to propose. Boy did I luck out. It was the greatest trip of our lives. We didn't want to leave. The staff and resort exceeded all expectations. They do it right. It truly feels like you're on your own private island. Thank you Baoase! We will be back.

We were looking for an escape around the same time last year and saw Baoase but there was no availability so when I saw Baoase again this year l jumped on the reservation. We stayed three nights four days. I suspect people will be uniform in their praise for Baoase so its hard to add anything different or insightful other than to say they do it so well it makes it hard to leave the resort. The weather was mostly sunny and hot! The accommodation, which is somewhat masculine in its decor (let's call it handsome) is luxe and exotic, with dark wood floors and ornately carved furniture. Two spacious closets, his and hers on either side of the room -- and a private walk-out deck with large dining table, lounge chairs, hot tub, and sitting area overlooking the ocean. his and her. We never heard a "no" to anything we asked as staff aims to please.From the manager to the kitchen staff, servers or the beach crew, every member of the Baoase team delivered outstanding service. We had wonderful conversations with many of them including Enzo, Kadisha and Kevin at the bar who makes a wonderful gin martini to order. We definitely recommend this place. Go and enjoy!
