The only reason they are getting a 4 star review is due to the WiFi otherwise they would get a 5+. The staff there are fabulous and the select ones that we interacted with would even refer to us by our names. They are presently remodeling so it was a little noisy but not enough to bother us at all. Even the construction workers where nice to talk to. I only complain about the WiFi because it was spotty and made necessary things I needed to do for work a little difficult but I really didn't care. I just put it aside and enjoyed the time there.

This was our 2nd time to stay at Banyan Bay. We absolutely love this place and enjoyed our stay both times. The rooms are very spacious and clean! The ENTIRE staff (including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and security) were so friendly and helpful. The beach in front of the resort was beautiful and well maintained and the best I've seen so far. We made good use of the beautiful pool for cooling off and the lounge chairs for relaxing. We love the beach bar and Pier 366 restaurant which are conveniently located at the resort. There was remodeling being done on some of the rooms but the noise was minimal and did not bother us. We plan to make Ambergris Caye our yearly vacation destination and we would definitely want to stay here again. We just hope it's still affordable after all the changes take place. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope to see y'all next year! Thank you Banyan Bay for a fun and relaxing vacation!
