Stayed at Bali Gede Villa 4 on our last day in Bali - thank God we booked just for one night and no longer than that!!! Looks nice from the outside but upon entering you could see there a lot of maintenance required for the villa. It was spacious, and we arrived around sundown from Ubud and wanted a nice swim at by the pool - only that the pool was poorly lit. Out of all the lights only one actually worked, we tried turning on the fan and more lights but the switches were broken...great. No night swims and the pool smells like chlorine.
Not just that our Dorito snacks got bitten by rat in the middle of the night, it was left on the counter but suspiciously “moved” towards the stove with visible bite marks on the cover. DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OUT because the next day during breakfast we saw a rat climbing up the walls to the second floor from the kitchen.
Told the staff we saw rats and the reaction were meh. Not helpful at all.
Glad to leave immediately the next day, will not return, there are plenty of nicer villas in Bali for a fraction of the price! Sure it was spacious and great for families but they really need to look through maintenance of the villa. Shame because it looks so nice from the outside ????
