Overview

Bahama Bay is a great resort for families who want to stay near Disney World — it’s only a 15-minute drive away. Villas have two or three bedrooms, full kitchens and multiple bathrooms to accommodate almost any family. Tradewinds Restaurant, a family-style eatery, overlooks Lake Davenport. Mambo’s Bar and Grill offers an outdoor atmosphere. For fun, there are a handful of pools on the property. Kids enjoy a bevy of water-related amenities, including wading pools and waterslides. A kids’ club plans daily, supervised activities involving video games in the game room and pool time.

Excellent base for a Disney stay

Stayed here in 3 apartments with the whole family for a two week Disney holiday. Facilities are excellent especially the pools. The resort is ideal for visiting all of the theme parks as well as the general Florida area.
I Would recommend for any families especially with children.

So fist night the room was really dirty and this was a “premium” one. Quite a lot of hassle sorting it out. I would say book via the place not private owner. The place looks lovely, nice walk around by the lakes. Wildlife about, nice pools, little beach look a like next to the lake, very big. About half an hour drive to international drive, and the parks.
