Overview

Just two blocks from the beach, the Aventura Mexicana overflows with family-friendly amenities for every vacation. When it’s time to play, the hotel offers two swimming pools, three sundecks, and free access to nearby Encanto Beach Club. Access to other beach clubs is available, but may require a minimum spend to visit. When it’s time to eat, start your day with the free breakfast at Mayan Bistro Restaurant and Bar. Lunch and dinner also are available. When it’s time to rest, head to one of the family-friendly guestrooms: the Deluxe Double featuring two California queen beds. Best little oasis

We returned again for about our 18th visit & still love the beautiful grounds, the fantastic staff, and the great location- quiet but between 5th & 10 & about a 5 minute walk to the beach. Our only regret is they closed the excellent Mayan Bistro earlier this year which we loved eating at. The bar is still open & Jorge the Bartender is excellent as always.
And Olivia the original hotel cat 9born in the grounds when the hotel was being built about 2000) is still hanging in & sleeps with us every night. She now has a younger heir apparent, Dominic who is also very nice.
We feel the fact so many of the staff have been here for so many years (our second family in our second home) speaks to the caring way the hotel is run.

2nd time staying here

We love staying here. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is quiet and peaceful place. Luis Ortiz guest services, is very helpful and knowledgeable. Our only concern was the breakfast. It was slow opening up and getting things started.
