Zoo Boise features more than 201 animals from 83 species. Located in Julia Davis Park in Boise, Idaho, Zoo Boise is easily accessible and hosts a plethora of events each year for all ages. Educational programs for children and families are available, such as Snooze at the Zoo, an overnight event, or Breakfast with the Lions, where guests can fuel up for the day with the pack. Additional animals to see include leopards, wallabies, monkeys, butterflies, anteaters and more.

The zoo is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission varies sessionally, but is $7 for adults, $4.50 for seniors ages 62 and older, $4.25 for children ages 3 to 11, and free for toddlers 2 and under from October to April. Every Thursday, discounted admission is offered for all guests. Additional fees may apply for attractions within the zoo, such as the carousel and the giraffe encounter.
