The World of Wings butterfly museum in Teaneck, New Jersey, located about 40 minutes from New York City, is home to insects, lizards, reptiles and more. Kids will love seeing the daily butterfly release at 12:30 p.m., as well as playing on the soft structures just for them throughout the museum. There are both indoor and outdoor areas to explore, with waterfalls to see and trails to stroll along. Inside the atrium, plants attract colorful butterflies and families will see them flying all around them as they explore the area.

World of Wings is open Wednesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission does not include access to the bounce attractions and scooters.
