Before you embark on your hike to Delicate Arch, stop by Wolfe Ranch and take a look inside the lives of John Wesley Wolfe, his oldest son, Fred, his daughter, Flora, her husband, Ed Stanley, and their two children, Esther and Ferol. It may just be one-room, but there is still so much to see and understand about life in the late 1800s from one quick glance. The Stanley’s ended up settling in nearby Moab just two years later, while John and Fred made their way back to their original stomping grounds in Ohio. Wolfe Ranch is on the National Register of Historic Places.
