There are things to do in the Lake George area during the winter, too. While there are no ski mountains directly in Lake George, this facility is only 10 minutes away in Queensbury. Both day and nighttime skiing is offered on 30 trails covering 126 acres, ranging from easy beginner slopes to challenging terrain and a 1,000-foot vertical descent. Snowmaking ensures good conditions. Group and individual lessons are offered every day. There are tubing trails, as well.
