Just 20 minutes south of St. Joseph, this lake beach area is ideal for families who are seeking a beach day or a camping trip. It offers more than 900 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline and is also a campground area with cabins, RV parking, picnic areas, a bathhouse and more. There are walking trails, two large staircases for dune climbing and a wide beach for playing in the sand and swimming. A playground is also situated near the sand.

It’s open dawn to dusk year-round.

Things to Know/Bring
There are no lifeguards at this beach. Restrooms, changing areas and rinse showers are available. A boat ramp is available for small watercraft, as well as picnic tables and grills by the beach. Families can also find kayak rentals in peak season.

Dining
A small concession area offers snacks and beverages during peak season.

Parking
There is a fee for parking in the lot, which can quickly fill up in the summer months.
