This company offers two tours up the Brazos River: a two-hour scenic history tour, and a two-hour sunset cruise with dinner. On the history tour, the first part of the cruise is a narration of Waco history, while the second part explores the wildlife living in the region.

Kids may enjoy spotting animals, such as herons and turtles, on the boat, and also the thrill of going under bridges, but it may not be ideal for squirmy or less-than-patient kiddos. Complimentary water and Dr. Pepper are available on board, and there’s also a bathroom available.

For the scenic history tour, adults are $39; children 4 to 12 are $10; and kids 3 and under are $5. The dinner cruise is $39 and is for adults only (you can bring your own alcoholic beverage if you wish).
