What better way to spend a day with your family than by taking a trip to the Virginia Safari Park? Meander through the Safari Village, where kids can feed and pet animals such as goats, pigs and piglets, chickens, and baby llamas, or take a drive through the Safari Drive-Thru, where animals roam free and do what they want (sometimes, they literally lay in the middle of the gravel road and sunbathe, so set aside some time for this journey). Kids can feed these animals with the Park’s specialty grain and maybe even get a thank you kiss afterwards! Open all day, every day, from mid-March through November.
