Hyde Park was also home to the Vanderbilt family, with this Gilded Age mansion belonging to Frederick and Louise Vanderbilt in the early 1900s. The site features formal gardens, hiking trails and expansive 211-acre grounds. This home was originally named Hyde Park and gave the town its name. Tours of the home are limited and require advanced reservations. Admission is $10 for adults; children ages 15 and under are free.
