If your family is looking for a real treat, take a trip to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. If you ever wondered what New York City is all about, you’ll find the answer somewhere between the 67th and 70th floors.
As the second-highest observation deck in all of New York City, the Top of the Rock Observation Deck offers some of the most breathtaking views of the city. For the younger crowd, check out the 67th and 69th floors. They’re closed off by tall, clear safety glass, and prevent any possibility of trouble.
The 70th floor doesn’t have any glass screens. The only thing separating you from Manhattan is a small fence. While it provides adults with the best views, children’s views may be obscured by the fence.
Regardless of what floor you choose, your family will enjoy a remarkable 360-degree view of New York City, including Central Park.
Don’t forget your camera! These are memories you’ll want for a lifetime.
