The name of the gorge actually means “Little Throat” and gets its namesake from the lava that cooled and spilt open, resulting in a cave. The most exciting part of this excursion is the swim.

Families can float and flop their way to a waterfall that is highlighted with canopy light from above. This swim-only takes five minutes, but is extremely peaceful and memorable. There is a warm, trickling hot spring that relieves swimmers of any cold flashes from the swim.
