Thinkery is the inviting new home of the Austin Children’s Museum. Enter the large Innovator’s Workshop, overflowing with art supplies, woodworking tools, and electronics, and kids can test their science and engineering skills. At the Spark Shop, children design flying objects to launch in the projectile range. The Light Lab lets kids create shadows and draw on walls with lasers. Then there’s the climbing tube in the playground-like Backyard. Needless to say, children won’t be bored. Admission is $10 per person and children under 2 are free.
