A hands-on, interactive museum dedicated to science and technology, the Tech Museum of Innovation is right at home in California’s tech capital. Galleries include specialty exhibitions like Cyber Detectives crime forensics; BioDesign Studio, which teaches about synthetic biology and engineering; Body Metrics, which uses data and analysis to promote healthcare; and Exploration Gallery, which explores earthquakes and space. Workshops are held on weekends to take visitors deeper into technology, and special traveling exhibits make their way to the museum throughout the year.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. A café is located on the property, featuring breakfast and lunch items.
