In the heart of downtown, Lady Bird Lake attracts bikers and joggers on the 11-mile trail that rings the body of water. Even better is a chance to go on a guided paddle on the calm waters under Congress Bridge. Starting in late February, hundreds of thousands of Mexican free-tailed bats make their home under the bridge. You’ll paddle close to their nesting spots and watch as they swoop to and fro.
