One of Surfside’s most popular attractions, the Surfside Beach Fishing Pier took a hard hit in 2016 from Hurricane Matthew, losing more than 50 percent of its length. Currently, it’s still waiting on a rebuild, but, for now, it’sclosed for fishing. Even so, it remains open for those who want to take a stroll and enjoy the view.

Open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
