About 45 minutes outside of Panama City, on the way to the town of Gamboa, you’ll find an impressive botanical garden with over 4,000 different plants. There’s also a small zoo with monkeys, jaguars and, most notably, a harpy eagle compound. The harpy eagle is the world’s largest bird of prey, and it’s indigenous to Panama.
