You can drive to Sterling Vineyards… or you can take a gondola ride, which provides scenic views of Napa Valley, and is especially fun if you have children in tow. Plus, it’s free for children under age 3. When families arrive at the winery, parents are treated to a glass of wine, while children can enjoy grape juice, crayons and coloring books.

The winery is open 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
