Opened in 2014, Spruce Street Harbor Park is a waterfront oasis in Philadelphia, best known for relaxing hammocks, eclectic lanterns and floating gardens. It features a “beach” with views of the Delaware River, plus swan boats and kayaks for rent, as well as a boardwalk, where families can find food (including the city’s famous water ice) and arcade games. Nearby, families can partake in more games on the lawn — you can’t miss the life-size version of Connect Four and Jenga! Spruce Street Harbor Park is open during the spring and summer months.
