Kids and adults can spend a half-hour with playful pups in the kennels of Southeastern Guide Dogs on its 23-acre campus in nearby Palmetto. The sessions help socialize the puppies who may be trained as guide dogs for the blind, companions for veterans or specialists for law enforcement. Hug A Puppy sessions are free, but a $5 donation will hold a spot for the puppy sessions, which can book up.
